Friday Favorites {3.23.18}

As usual, I'm linking up with ErikaNarci, and Andrea to share some Friday Favorites! Don't forget to find me on Facebook and Instagram

ONE
I was overwhelmed and shocked by the response to my posts on Monday and Wednesday this week. SO many people private messaged me about similar experiences. I am thankful for this little spot on the web for me to share my experiences and give hope or assurance to others.
If you missed out, you can find the posts below:

TWO
The boys finished swimming lessons this week. They absolutely love lessons and are always sad to see them come to an end. A certain 5 year old may have passed and is now in a certain 8 year old's class. I was very nervous about this happening but that 8 year old is so excited!

Mostly, because once you get to his level, they get to put on a 'show' for the lower levels. He is excited Jace will get to do the 'show' with him.

Water show....swimming lesson style

THREE
Ice fishing season is done for the year and that calls for a celebration!!! The boys had fun this year. Being with our good friends for a good chunk of the fishing season made it even more special for them {and Dan}. But, I am excited to have us together on the weekends again.

FOUR
We are looking forward to our weekend {minus the forecast of snow}. Jaxon has a basketball game and some baseball this weekend, other than that we will be low key. The boys are looking forward to Palm Sunday at church.

We have these resurrection eggs we do with the kids the week before Easter. It really helps them understand the story of Easter. We read a story and it goes through Jesus' journey to the cross. Every year they have new questions and are excited. Jaxon knows what he will find in each egg now, but he still loves the visuals. You can find them here. We also bought the Benjamin Box book that goes with the eggs. However, the eggs do have their own story included. We started it this week but you would have plenty of time if you ordered it now.

Have a great weekend and hopefully the snow melts fast!
