All About Jace

June is Jace's birthday month! Last month I did an All About Jaxon post. Having a busy, needy, dependent one year old sometimes takes over my blog. I thought it was a good idea to do a post on each of these boys. They both have their own personalities and interests and are perfect in my mind.

Our Jacers (as we like to call him) or Jace-er-oni is 5.9 years old. His 6th birthday is June 22nd. It is coming up quick and he has BIG plans for his birthday. He has been asking how many days until his birthday for the last 11 months. He found out that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes out ON HIS BIRTHDAY! His birthday plans: go to the new movie with a few friends. Jace LOVES dinosaurs and the Jurassic World movie.

Jace is funny and silly. He is often telling me jokes or laughing about something someone said. He also has a big heart and does not want to ever hurt someone's feelings.

He is going to be in kindergarten next year! He is so excited to go to school every day like Jaxon and really wants to learn to read. 

Scarlett is one of Jace's best friends. He just adores his cousin (I think the feeling is mutual). 

When Jaxon gives him attention, he is over the moon. 

He always is trying to help with Ella and usually knows how to make her happy.

Jace is just EASY. He is the one that will go play with a group of friends, one friend, or by himself. Sometimes when Jaxon is outside playing with friends he asks if he can stay in just to play. He thrives off a little alone time each day. His favorite things: Legos, army guys, superhero figurines, board games, dress up as superhero/army guy.

He will sit and do something for a long time. He has a love for BINGO {a boy after my own heart}!

Random facts about Jace:

• He loves fishing, camping, and adventures
• Jace is the most adventurous eater out of the boys in our home
• His grandpa's dog, Bo, is one of his best companions and he talks about the dog and prays for the dog
• Jace is strong willed at times and gets really upset when things don't go his way
• Jace loves the NDSU Bison
• Dan tells Jace a story every night before bed and Jace has a hard time going to sleep without the story
• If movies and popcorn were a love language, that would be at the top of Jace's list
• He can be shy and reserved around new people or in unfamiliar situations
• Jace is trying golf this summer and he is super excited about it (he is also doing t-ball and flag football)
• I can ask Jace where one small toy is and he knows exactly where it is even if it is in the weirdest place. He keeps track of his stuff!

That's our Jace! He has his own personality and we just adore him. It is hard to believe he is going to be 6 in a few short weeks. We are excited to try a lot of fun things with him this summer.
