Friday Favorites {2.23.18}

ONE

On Monday, I shared our morning routine. You can check out that post here. I love peeking inside others day to day life. I am going to do a 'day in the life' post on Monday. I will try to do a day in the life on a Sunday because most of our day during the week is work :) I am hoping to do a few of them this summer, too.

I also posted my yummy peanut butter bites this week!

TWO

This last weekend we had some of our best friends come visit. We do a family get together at a hotel once a year. For a few years, we tried to make it to every birthday party and kid event and it was just too much when we all started having kids. Now, we do a 'birthday weekend' minus the birthday ;) Last weekend, there were a few who couldn't make it {distance, surgery, influenza, LIFE}. But, we had fun with those who were here. These girls really are the best. Honestly, my friends are awesome.

We were grateful this hotel lent us a table so we could relax after the kids and hubbies went to bed for the night. What Do You MEME was the game of the evening. We had some good laughs. I lost...miserably. 

THREE

Speaking of swimming, the rest of the family had fun, too! Ella had her first swimming adventure. The boys swam with friends until they were ready for bed. And Dan enjoyed the company and giving Ella cheetos.

     

FOUR

Grandpa came to visit so we attempted a picture with 6 of the grands. It basically failed. Nice try though

FIVE

Jace went fishing with Dan on Monday and so these two had some quality time. I love seeing their bond. 

But, Jace and dad had fun, too!

SIX

Finally, I have talked about the Alto Bella PlayClay before. I really love it for my hair and use it every day. It doesn't matter if I'm putting my hair up, curling, straightening or doing nothing, there is always a bit of this incorporated. I love trying new products but nothing ever comes close to this one. Plus, a little goes a LONG way.
