Last Day of School
We are SO EXCITED around here! We are officially on summer vacation {well, mine officially starts at 3:10 today}. Jaxon had his last day of school yesterday. He has had a wonderful year. I asked him what the best part of his year was and he said, 'Gym and the last day of school because Mr. *** gave us a lot of good stuff and I had a good class'.
He is really going to miss his teacher {who is moving so Jax won't even see him in the hallways}.
Jaxon has grown so much over the year but is still his same energetic, sports loving, smart, and loyal guy. He also has found out he loves picking out his own clothes. His last day of school outfit had me using all my willpower to not make him change. Don't mind all the mismatch!

Just a reminder of Jace's last day with a little side by side (left: last day; right: first day). When I look at this picture, one big thing comes to mind: confidence. Jace's confidence has blossomed this year and I can really tell just in this picture.
When I asked Jace what his favorite part of the school year was he said, 'Having a Valentine's party'.
After school we headed to a local cookie dough and ice cream shop...but the line was way out the door and the boys opted to check it out another time. We then headed to baseball for a night on the field! When we got home, the boys stayed up late and were tired for daycare this morning!
Today also marks the end of another chapter. Our daycare for the last 4.5 years is closing her doors for new opportunities. We can't say thank you enough to her for watching our kids over the years, always taking care of them, loving them, and providing a second home. All 3 of my kids adore her. All of them are spending the day with her today and I am positive they will have loads of fun!
We are looking forward to relaxing this summer, enjoying a lot of pool/lake time, baseball, and every thing else on our summer bucket list. I have one more day of work today and then I will be joining the summer vacation club :) Have a great weekend friends!
