Weekend Recap

I am still wishing it was the weekend! Such beautiful weather!

The weekend started off with my sister and I heading for Duluth!

Meanwhile, Ella and Jace had an impromptu date with our friends/neighbors. Ella never gets any attention! Note: her forehead is not dirty. It is bruised!

Finally, we made it to Duluth! It was wonderful getting to snuggle little Miss Sutton. She is so tiny and so cute. She has a lot of dark brown hair. We joked that she already has more than Ella and Scarlett!

On Saturday, we took her out on her first walk and enjoyed the great weather! We also enjoyed the hills Duluth has to offer. It was great spending time with my brother and sister-in-law as well. When we see them there are typically quite a few kids running around. It was nice and quiet.

My sister-in-law's mom and grandma stopped by so Beth and I headed to the canal park area for awhile. We stopped at some shops. I found some fun scone and brownie mixes and some fruit stripe gum for the boys!

It was Cinco De Mayo so Beth and I stopped at a local Mexican restaurant for some Mexican food. Why not?!? Corona, margaritas, salsa, and queso were our mid day snacks! We also found out that Duluth is a very pet friendly town. There were so many dogs up on the patio!

Meanwhile, at home, the kids enjoyed the nice weather and a few books. Dan didn't even get pictures of the boys because they were all over the place.

We really didn't want to leave this little girl. We will see her again Memorial Weekend and bet she will have changed a ton! We are counting down the days!

I didn't take very many pictures of our little Seis De Mayo party but we had some pork tacos, chips, salsa, queso, and dips! We enjoyed the company and the nice weather before heading to a baseball scrimmage.

I only took one picture and it wasn't even of the player. Sigh. This little girl is going to keep us busy at baseball games this summer. It doesn't appear she cares to listen too much and would like to run out on the field to join her brother.
